My-Affiliate Marketinginformation and affiliate programs for the affiliate marketer
By Dave D.
Marketers need to make a product that sells well. There is no point of having great marketing skills coupled with a product that is not much of a use to anyone. A good example would be such as a device for cleaning brooms. Why would anyone want such an item in the beginning and why bother at all to create such an item.
Before you sell a product, make sure you check on the demand of the product first. If there is no demand then don’t supply. Ask yourself these questions; does people need this product? Will it be able to provide information that answers people’s questions? If it does not, don’t waste your time generating a sales letter but look for another product to sell. Demand is one of the key elements in marketing a product.
The purpose of marketing is to introduce the product and to close the sale. But in order to achieve this, we have to make or obtain a product that the customer wants or needs to buy. Now here is the big question, how do we make a product that sells? Simple. Try asking.
The best place to ask questions is at public forums that are niche related. Ask them what they want or need to know and from there you can have an outline for your next product. There are also a number of unanswered questions out there and you just have to piece them together bit by bit to create your product.
Let us say for example you intend to create an e-book on PC setup guide. First, you will need to find out the demand for this product. You can do this by going to a niche related forum and ask in a manner that you are not going to sell them something. You can ask questions such as; is anyone interested in a PC setup guide? And not, does anyone here want to buy an e-book on PC setup guide?
From here, try to gather the reactions of forum members. If they seem interested, than you may have a sellable product in the making. If not maybe you can try to rephrase and reconstruct your question. If there were still very low response, than it would be a good idea to brainstorm for more ideas. As long as there is an interest, your chances of conversion are there. When you have completed making a product that sells, do not forget to make a killer sales copy that will seem irresistible. A great product coupled with a killer sales copy will most probably convert well.
